I study olfaction-driven behaviour and the underlying neural circuitry in Drosophila larvae, using a combination of behavioural assays and neuronal imaging techniques. I'm particularly interested in the interaction of innate preference and internal state, specifically hunger, in driving behavioural patterns and preferences.
